Albasini Road (S3) e Mestel Dam

Na Mestel Dam, vimos um grupo de hipopótamos (Hippopotamus amphibius) à distância. Foi a primeira de muitas visualizações de hipopótamos, que são animais com uma biologia incrível, quase sempre encontrados na água durante o dia, onde se protegem da radiação solar. As fotos dos hipopótamos não ficaram boas, devido à distância. Colocamos, então, apenas uma foto da Mestel Dam, com Shabeni Hill ao fundo.

In Mestel Dam, we saw a group of hippos (Hippopotamus amphibius) at a distance. It was the first of many sightings of hippos, animals with an outstanding biology, almost always found in the water during the day, where they protect themselves of solar radiation. The pictures of hippos were not good, due to the distance. We just included, then, a picture of Mestel Dam, with Shabeni Hill in the background.

Na Albasini Road (S3), vimos 2 impalas, mais 15 mangustos-anões e 3 fêmeas de Kudu (Tragephalus strepsiceros). Somente fotografamos estas últimas, mas, como temos outras fotos mais bonitas desses antílopes majestosos, dos mais bonitos que vimos, deixaremos para mostrá-los mais à frente.

In Albasini Road (S3), we saw 2 Impalas, more 15 Dwarf Mongooses and 3 female Kudus (Tragephalus strepsiceros). We only took pictures of the latter, but, as we have other more beautiful pictures of these splendid antelopes, among the most beautiful we saw, we will show them later.
